Welcome to being an entrepreneur, deaf business owner, and deaf business supporter!
I believe very strongly that business as a profession should be exciting and fun as well as rewarding in a financial sense and skills development. Since life is short, why not enjoy what you are doing?
I give the rise of entrepreneurship a lot of benefits for bringing a sense of exhilaration to the fundamentals of business. Even in large corporations people are learning to overcome challenges, dead ends, barriers, and have fun, high-performance teams are looking for ways to reach goals despite of detours like playing with puzzles.
How many of you have experienced a downturn last and this year?
How many of you faced barriers, dead ends, great difficulties, and challenges especially we are deaf and with hearing loss in small business and entrepreneurship world?
I know how you are feeling.
Of course, I am not going to offer you the wish of smooth sailing in your future endeavors.
I said at the outset that our goal today was to start thinking a bit about the future.
I hope that I’ve made my call.
Not without our best minds and not without our business society.
We must begin today to broaden our view beyond our limits and share our issues. We can start, by educating, sharing ourselves and key players in business about the issues I’ve mentioned here above.
You are welcome to bring your valuable ideas, strategies, solutions, and action to the 2010 1st Business Convention and Expo of the Deaf in Houston, TX!
Have fun making good decisions in difficult times!
