General Policy

The Business Convention and Expo of the Deaf is open only to registered participants and is not open to the public without any registration.

The Business Convention and Expo of the Deaf reserves the right to make changes to the program and speakers, or to cancel sessions if enrollment criteria are not met, or when conditions beyond its control prevail. All sessions are filled on a first come, first seated basis. Arrive early to ensure a seat.

The Business Convention and Expo of the Deaf will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges, travel delays and cancellations, or hotel deposits or transportation to/from a hotel or any cause at the BCED site and hotel location.

Recording devices and cameras, still or video, are prohibited. Due to safety concerns, no one under the age of 18 (including infants in strollers) will be permitted on the premises at any time during The Business Convention and Expo of the Deaf.

All attendees must be 18 years of age or older.

Students (18-21 years old) attendance is strictly required parents’s liability and permission for their students attendance and stay at the hotel. Parents are liable fully for their minors’ stay at the hotel. Damages including vandalism and violations against Federal, State, and local laws, hotel and BCED policies. Attending/unattending parents and young attendees  carry responsibilities, charges, and pay in full for losses, damages or causes at the BCED site and hotel.

Dress Code

Appropriate business attire is required for all sessions, network meetings,  and ceremonies except evening entertainment and recreation programs, and Sunday program. Exceptions may be made for religious or medical reasons.

Privacy Policy

The Business Convention and Expo of the Deaf does not share, sell or rent its mailing lists. You have our assurance that any information you provide will be held in confidence by Business Convention and Expo of the Deaf.

We occasionally use mailing lists that we have leased. If you receive unwanted communication from us, it is because your name appears on a list we have acquired from another source or our website. In this case, please accept our apologies.
